Not sure if I’m approved but like to share an in-depth study made by Brother Dave Headley DOES THE 1600 FURLONGS INDEED CONNECT THE RE-BIRTH OF ISRAEL TO NOVEMBER 1 2014, THE DATE OF THE LAST DAY? by Brother Dave Headley June 24 2014 SUMMARY The drought and famine of Elijah’s day is a Perfect Picture of The Day of Judgment that we are currently in. The Day of Judgment which started on May 21 2011 is a time when there is no more water or bread of salvation, that is, a spiritual drought and famine. Since the drought and famine of Elijah’s day lasted for a period of 3 years and 6 months, so it follows that The Day of Judgment will last that same period of time. 3 years and 6 months = 42 months = 1,260 days. May 21 2011 + 3 years and 6 months / 42 months / 1,260 days brings us to November 1 2014. From a previous study of mine, November 1 2014 is exactly 66 Years on the Hebrew Calendar + 6 Average Biblical Months (i.e., the 30-day month) from the Re-birth of The Nation of Israel on May 14 1948. If the 1600 furlongs of Revelation 14:20 is represents NOT days but rather to HOURS, then 1600 HOURS are in view. Then when we convert hours into 24-hour days, the 1600 HOURS equals 66.6 DAYS. 66.6 is very similar to the number 666 stated in Revelation 13:18. Furthermore, when one does this conversion from hours to days (i.e., 1600/24), the number 144 appears repeatedly in the calculations. The number 144 is very similar to the 144,000 saved from The 12 Tribes of Israel mentioned in Revelation 7:4, 14:1,3 as well as the number 144 mentioned in Revelation 21:17. Such appearances of the numbers 66.6 and 144 provide us with proof that we are correct with the November 1 2014 date as the date of The Last Day. Lastly, this study examines 4 problems with the October 7 2015 date as the date of The Last Day. 1. The Problem with the verse used to define the 10,000 days. 2. October 7 2015 is NOT The Last Day of The Feast of Tabernacles. 3. The Feast of Tabernacles as described in The Book of Zechariah applies only while this earth exists and not for eternity. 4. Since All The Feasts are in View on The Last Day, then The Last Day will NOT fall on ANY of the dates of the feasts. The drought and famine of Elijah’s day is a Perfect Picture of The Day of Judgment that we are currently in. So, if we go 1260 days from May 21 2011 that brings us to November 1 2014. Currently, there are 2 models (amongst others) that are being debated on Facebook regarding The Date of The Last Day. Both regard May 21 2011 as the start of The Day of Judgment. The first model proposes that the 1600 furlongs stated in Revelation 14:20 refers to 1600 days for the length of The Day of Judgment. 1600 Days from May 21 2011 would bring us to October 7 2015. The second model as stated above proposes that The Day of Judgment will last 1260 days / 42 months / 3 years and 6 months / 3½ years / 3½ “days” / “time, times and dividing of time”, numbers mentioned in Daniel 7:25, 12:7, Luke 4:25, James 5:17-18, Revelation 11:2,3,9,11, 12:6,14, 13:5. Although all these references to 1260 days or the equivalent clearly could not all refer the post-May 21 period we are now in, however, it is clear that some of these references do support a literal 1260-day-long Day of Judgment. 1260 Days from May 21 2011 would bring us to November 1 2014, which by the way is the 8th Day of the 8th Month on the Hebrew Calendar. Some believe that the 1600 furlongs of Revelation 14:20 and the 1260-day period are mutually exclusive because no one has been able to see how these 2 numbers can relate to each other. However, we know that everything in The Bible must harmonize with everything else if we are indeed on the path of spiritual truth. This study will explore if we have indeed found harmony between these 2 numbers. I believe the 1600 furlongs of Revelation 14:20 refers NOT to 1600 days as some like Chris McCann have proposed, but rather 1600 HOURS. But you may ask “So what exactly does that mean?” Say for the moment, that the 1600 furlongs does indicate 1600 hours. So, how many days would 1600 hours equal. To determine this we would need to divide 1600 by 24, since there are 24 hours per day. Now, let’s do the math but please pardon my crude graphics. 66.6. . . 24 / 1600.0 144 160.0 144 16.0 14.4 1.6 and so on . . . So, we see that 1600 hours would equate to 66.6 days. So what would this 66.6 days be referring to? I believe that we should apply the year-for-a-day principle here to make any sense of this. If we do so, then we have 66 years plus a portion of one year. We could rightly assume that there should be the additional 0.6 years or about 216 days. However, I believe the 0.6 is a special notation indicating the number of MONTHS. In other words, 66.6 years would indicate 66 years and 6 months. IF, and I say IF this is the case, then what time period does the 66 years and 6 months refer to? Well, if May 21 2011 plus 1260 days brings us to November 1 2014, then what event occurred exactly 66 years and 6 months prior to November 1 2014? That event was the Re-birth of the Nation of Israel. In my last study entitled The Re-birth of Israel, November 1 2014 and The Number 666, I measured exactly 66 years on the Hebrew Calendar from the date of the Re-birth of the Israel. The Israel was reborn as a nation-state on May 14 1948, which was the 5th Day of the 2nd Month of the Hebrew Calendar (5 Iyar). Israel celebrates its anniversary not on May 14 in a given year but on the 5th Day of the 2nd Month on the Hebrew Calendar. In 2014 Israel will celebrate its 66th Anniversary as a Nation and in this year the 5th Day of the 2nd Month falls on May 5. So how many days are there between 5th day of the 2nd Month and the 8th Day of the 8th Month in 2014? Here are the numbers: 5th Day of the 2nd Month => 29th Day of the 2nd Month = 24 Days 1st Day of the 3rd Month => 30th Day of the 3rd Month = 30 Days 1st Day of the 4th Month => 29th Day of the 4th Month = 29 Days 1st Day of the 5th Month => 30th Day of the 5th Month = 30 Days 1st Day of the 6th Month => 29th Day of the 6th Month = 29 Days 1st Day of the 7th Month => 30th Day of the 7th Month = 30 Days 1st Day of the 8th Month => 8th Day of the 8th Month = 8 Days So, the TOTAL NUMBER OF DAYS between the 5th Day of the 2nd Month until the 8th Day of the 8th Month = 24 +30 +29 +30 + 29 + 30 + 8 = 180 DAYS. As it just so happens, the length of the AVERAGE BIBLE MONTH is 30 days, per Revelation 11:2-3 which appears to equate 1260 days with 42 months and in so doing defines The Average Biblical Month as indeed 30 days in length. The 30-day generic month, by the way, is the exactly same as we what use today with our modern calendar. We don’t say you have a 1 month guarantee, but that you have a 30-day guarantee. So, it is the same with both the Bible’s definition of a generic month as well as our modern calendar’s definition of a month. Any how, 180 days x 1 Biblical Month/30 days = 6 BIBLICAL MONTHS, EXACTLY. It appears that the 1600 Furlongs corroborates the assertion that the number 666 of Revelation 13:18 is indicating a period of 66 years and 6 months from the Re-birth of Israel and The Last Day. More on The Re-birth of Israel and its relationship to the date of The Last Day in a bit. Here are 2 more points regarding the number 666. This first point regards that fact that does it not seem curious that this mysterious number mentioned in the last verse of Revelation 13 appears to have a numerical relationship with the mysterious number in the last verse of Chapter 14, that being the 1600 Furlongs? The second point regards Revelation 13:18. In this verse God refers to the number 666 in this way: Rev 13:18 - Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. If the number 666 refers to the number both of the beast and of a man, we know that “the beast” refers to Satan himself, but to whom does “a man” refers? Or is it the non-elect? Or is it the elect? Or is THE MAN Jesus Christ per 1 Timothy 2:5? I believe it is ALL THE ABOVE. After all, on The Last Day, Satan, the non-elect, the elect and Christ as The Judge are all in view. So, does it not make sense that the number 666 is used to determine the date of The Last Day, the day when both the beast and the final harvest of mankind are both in view when God renders His final judgment on the world? One last note before we move on. Notice that there is another number that repeats when we divide 1600 by 24, namely the number 144. I find it very curious that this particular number is very similar to another number that appears earlier in The Book of Revelation. In Revelation 7:4, 14:1,3, there are 144,000 who were sealed from The 12 Tribes of Israel. It always seemed odd to me why God chose to describe the elect from the 12 Tribes of Israel using the number 12,000. Why did He simply use the number 10,000 or some other number? But He chose the number 12,000. And then God states Revelation 21:17 that the wall that surrounds the New Jerusalem is 144 cubits thick. Again, why is God appearing to emphasize the number 144 in these passages? I cannot say that this proves a relationship between these numbers that feature the numerals 144, any yet, I personally believe it’s a verification that we are on the right track with the November 1 2104 date. In other words, it’s the appearance and re-appearance of such numbers and 666 and 66.6 as well as 144 and 144,000 that demonstrate some harmony between certain specific numbers that are explicitly and implicitly stated in Revelation. BEHOLD THE FIG TREE AND ALL THE TREES . . . But does the Re-birth of Israel have a direct relationship with the final harvest of mankind? In Matthew 24 and Mark 13, God mentions The Fig Tree in that it will be a sign of the time of the end. As we read in Matthew 24: Matt 24:32-33 - Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. But what does God mean by “ye know that summer is nigh”? To answer that you need to know what how the term “summer” is used. Basically, there are only 2 real seasons described in the Bible, Summer and Winter – the seasons of Spring and Autumn are not found in The Bible. It appears that Summer runs from the 1st to the 6th month and Winter from the 7th to the 12th/13th month. From an agricultural point of view, Summer is the time that you grow your crops, from sowing to harvesting, while Winter is when you refrain from such activities. Knowing this, when we read that when you see the fig tree putting forth its leaves and know that summer is nigh, we can conclude that the harvesting of the fruits of the figs is coming up. However, as we know from that Israel will not bear spiritual fruit in a significant way, was we read in Matthew 21: Matt 21:19 - And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. And the fact that Israel will not bear spiritual fruit is further emphasized in Revelation 6 upon the opening of the 6th seal: Rev 6:13 - And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. So we see that God will not allow Israel to bear fruit. This is in contrast to what occurred when the Israelites returned from Babylon after 70 years in exile. Ezra and Nehemiah lead groups of faithful Israelites back to their homeland. When related to the time period we are in, it appears that God will “cut short” the 70-year time frame that is analogous to the Babylonian Exile. In other words, God will not allow Israel to reach its 70-Year Anniversary as a nation. But is there is any scriptural evidence that directly ties the cutting short of Israel’s time to bear spiritual fruit? Indeed there is. It can be found in the passage in Luke 21 that parallels the verses we cited above from Matthew 24. Luke 21:29-31 - And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. So here we see that God directly ties together the Re-birth of Israel, as pictured by the fig tree shooting forth along with the other “trees”. If the fig tree is a picture of national Israel, then all the rest of the trees are a picture of all the rest of the nations of the earth that are approaching the time to bear spiritual fruit. THE PROBLEMS WITH THE OCTOBER 7 2015 DATE Allow me to address the problems I see with the October 7 2015 date as proposed by Chris McCann as the date of The Last Day. In his model, Chris proposes that the 1600 furlongs of Revelation 14:20 should be converted to 1600 days. Thus, May 21 2011 plus 1600 days would bring us to October 7 2015, which is the 23rd Day of the 7th Month. When added to the 8400-day long Great Tribulation period that would brings us to a grand total of 10,000 days, a tidy number to say the least. 1. The Problem with the verse used to define the 10,000 days. Chris uses this verse to support this 10,000 day total: Rev 2:10 - Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: Here, Chris believes that each “day” represents 1,000 days. However, he presents no verses where God sets such a legal precedent. This is a problem. Next 2. October 7 2015 is NOT The Last Day of The Feast of Tabernacles. 2 Chron 7:9-10 - And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days. And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the Lord had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. This is the sole passage that Chris uses to prove that the Feast of Tabernacles ends on the 23rd Day of the 7th Month. The problem is that this is a faulty conclusion based on a faulty assumption. We know that The Feast of Tabernacles is a SEVEN DAY FEAST, NOT AN EIGHT NEVERMIND A NINE DAY FEAST. We read how God defines this feast Lev 23:34-36 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord. On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. AND Num 29:12,35 - And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days . . . On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein: In these 2 passages, God describes The Feast of Tabernacles as a SEVEN DAY FEAST. AGAIN, IT’S A SEVEN DAY FEAST. And this feast starts exactly on the 15th Day of the 7th Month. And if the feast starts on that day, then the 7th and final day of the feast is the 21st Day of the 7th Month, NOT THE 23rd Day of the Month. Notice that God tells us that on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles is a solemn assembly, then goes right in and tells us on “the eighth day” there is also a solemn assembly to be held. If you’re not careful, you may be tricked into thinking that the eighth day is part of The Feast of Tabernacles. After all, in Number 29 He states what sacrifices are to be made on each of the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles and then go right ahead and states what sacrifices are to be made on the eighth day. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SNARE FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT CAREFULLY READING THE SCRIPTURES. I believe God very purposefully placed this as a snare. I think of what He’s done here as a sort of “Simon Says” game, pardon the analogy, but it describes what God has done here so well. Here, God tells us what is to be sacrificed on each of the seven days of the feast then goes right on and tells us what is to be sacrificed on the eighth day without expressly stating that the eighth day is not part of the Feast of Tabernacles. “The Eighth Day”, for lack of a better term, is the discrete day for a solemn assembly (and NOT a feast day, by the way), separate from The Feast of Tabernacles. I believe God has established this “Eighth Day” wholy to emphasize the “EIGHTH-NESS” of that day, to the extent that this is a detail regarding the day and month when The Last Day will occur. I find it interesting that the Jews have made this distinction between the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles and The Eighth Day in their calendar of holy days. However, Chris has not made such a distinction and conflates the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles with the eighth and ninth days of the month. 3. The Feast of Tabernacles as described in The Book of Zechariah applies only while this earth exists and not for eternity. Zechariah 14 mentions The Feast of Tabernacles 3 times, as we read: Zech 14:16-19 - And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. Here we read about what is to occur on The Feast of Tabernacles and the punishment on those who do not come up to Jerusalem for the feast. Some people read this as what will happen after The Last Day. The problem is that passage CANNOT describe what will happen after The Last Day simply because of the phrase “from year to year”. So, what defines a year? It’s the time it takes the earth to make one revolution around the sun. However, this assumes that there will be sun when the new heaven and earth are formed. However, as we read in Revelation 21:23 that there will no longer be a sun nor for that matter a moon in The New Creation. Therefore, this passage in Zechariah 14 can ONLY be referring to the time leading up to The Last Day. 4. Since All The Feasts are in View on The Last Day, then The Last Day will NOT fall on ANY of the dates of the feasts. This a conclusion that I reached after examining each of the various feast days. I used to be a big “Feast of Tabernacles” fan, after carefully and prayerfully studying this topic, I arrived at this conclusion. I know many people such as Chris are attached to the Feast of Tabernacles as the time of The Last Day, but their faith in this feast is not based on careful study of The Bible. I hope that you will consider everything in this study and as a good Berean to TEST ALL THINGS. All The Glory Goes to The LORD Omnipotent! Brother Dave Headley
