Jesus is looking for you. How do we know that he is looking for - TopicsExpress

Jesus is looking for you. How do we know that he is looking for specifically you? Sometimes we look at our lives and think about the bad things we did. Some of those are with regret and some are not. Some people were not so popular and never seemed to fit in. Some people were growing weak of heart because of the things people would say about them. They didnt want to know your side of the story, they just wanted to think the worse of you because it was told by someone else that had a grudge against you. But know matter what, those that have been hurt had made a choice to back away from others. They decided to take their kids to school at a different time. They decided to get the mail at a different time. They decided to go to the store at a different time just to avoid the staring eyes, the condescending looks and sometimes even the occasional snickering as the person passes by. But there is ONE that willl go out of HIS way to see you, talk with you, spend time with you, even make you feel like you are the most important person on earth. Jesus loves you so much that he laid down HIS life for you so you can have an intimate relationship with HIS FATHER. As we look at John 4, we see Jesus a woman that goes to the well at the height of the midday sun. She was a woman that had 5 husbands and the man she was living with at the moment was not even her husband. I am sure many people had spoken about her and about her lifestyle. But Jesus, a Jew (Jews did not associate with Samaritans because of their spiritual inferiority in those days), had a need to go through Samaria. The King James version says; He must needs go through Samaria. Jesus is looking for you, I am sure of it. There is something you are dealing with and you are not going to use HIM as a crutch. He already knows your problems and HE is waiting for you to arrive. He has made a divine appointment for you and HIM to meet. HE is specifically waiting for you. Dont walk away, talk with HIM. He is there to comfort you, and give you a joy that know one can take from you. So just know that as the woman at the well was not the one that was seeking out Jesus, it was Jesus that sought her out. It was recorded as Jesus needed to go through Samaria. I am sure that there are many people in that village that needed to hear about Jesus. But when I think about the gospel given to the Jews to reach out to all the Jews and the gospel given to Paul to reach the rest of the world around it seems that our Lord had a specific purpose to meet with someone that day, at that time. HE is not going to bring condemnation on your life, but will bring hope to your heart. A hope so strong you will want to tell anyone else close to you about this hope. God bless and stay strong. I love you all.
