Jesus said you MUST be born of the water and the Spirit to enter into the Kingdom. Putting it bluntly you will be lost if you are not baptized properly. You MUST take on the NAME of Jesus to be adopted into his kingdom. When a child gets adopted into a family, that child automatically takes on the name of the father. For example, if I was adopted, my original last name would change to the one I have now which is Grier. I would be identified as part of the David Grier clan not the John Doe clan. When you take on the name of Jesus you are now being identified as part of the Jesus clan.
