Job Opportunity in Bonne Esperance JOB OPPORTUNITY Title: Animator (Part-time), Seniors Day Center Location: St. Paul’s River, Quebec Position Summary: Under the general guidance of the Project Manager and the Community Advisory Group, assist in the planning, co-ordination and implementation of activities of a Seniors Day Center in the St. Paul’s River (Municipality of Bonne Esperance). This position will involve working closely with the 50+ Club of St. Paul’s River. Responsibilities: Assist in the development of a program of activities designed to meet the needs of the senior population Coordinate and implement program activities in Bonne Esperance Create a monthly calendar of activities Complete necessary documentation and reports as required Assist in the recruitment and support of volunteers Requirements: · Education and or experience will be given priority · Must be interested in working with seniors · Computer experience with word processing, email and Internet · Must have own transportation · Must be able to work as part of a team and on his/her own initiative · Organizational and planning skills · Good communication skills · CPR and First Aid would be beneficial Salary/Duration: $ 12.00 per hour 10 hr/ week – part-time position Start date: October 7th, 2013 Posting date: September 16th, 2013 to Friday, September 27th, 2013 The successful candidate will be selected by a selection committee.
