Eligibility: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Job Description · Ensure that train is fit for service (equipment status and tests) each day before the first daily ride · while driving in the depot, ensure that the trains are driven manually under the supervision of OCC · Ensure safety compliance while driving the Train is being driven in automatic mode · Ensure safedoor opening and closing sequences in stations · Ensure continuity and adequacy of brake power and air pressure or pneumatic pressure before taking the train out of depot · In case of failure of automatic operation, act as fall-back and drive the train according to driving rules and processes under the supervision of OCC · Responsible for initiating required remedial action as per defined guidelines in the event of breakdowns · Reports failure or any technical or passenger related issues to OCC · Follow the OCC instructions for incident and traffic management · Coordinate with station personnel on heavy disruptions (i.e. evacuation) · Ensure procedural compliance as per operational guidelines · Ensure update of documents as per laid down procedures · Support OCC for passenger information during incidents · Frequently inspect the train cabin and take corrective action in case of forgotten items and litter · Ensure train is properly cleaned going through the washing plant and report any malfunction of the plant
