Jobs for Life Volunteers Needed! The next Jobs for Life Employer Roundtable is on 10/8 at 5:30 PM and we will also have one on 10/29 at 5:30 PM. The goal for the Employer Roundtable is to provide an informal and candid environment for students to learn about an employers perspective on what it takes to find and keep a job. As a roundtable participant, you will be asked to introduce yourself and your company as well as provide a 5-10 minute presentation on topics such as; the job application process, interviewing process, your work environment, typical job responsibilities and expectations, the attributes of a quality employee, etc. Mock Interview night is scheduled for 11/5/2014 at 5:30 PM; we will need 10 experienced employers/managers who are willing to interview two students and provide candid feedback on their performance. We strive to replicate the actual interview process in every way possible. All events will be conducted in the offices at First Baptist Church - Garner which is located at 601 St. Marys Street in Garner, NC.
