Join and bring your friends - not to be missed! We would like to invite you and your family and friends to attend our first of the season Fun Drive and camp this coming Friday 6th September. A fun drive to Shorfah to drive up to the peaks of the surroundings of Jebel Shams and Al Hamra area, where we will welcome new members and formally introduce ourselves as Sinbad Muscat Tours. We will meet at 12pm at Al Makkan Coffee Shop Parking Lot opposite City Centre Seeb and commence our drive to Awabi and then trail off for a 36km challenging drive up exhilarating terrain to the peak of the mountain. Once at the campsite, we will set up personal camping equipment and watch the beautiful sun set over the mountains and then have dinner at 20:30. As the sun rises early in the morning, especially over 2000m above sea level, breakfast will be served at 06:30. We will then be packing up and leave on tarmac road down the mountain toward Nizwa on Route 21 (Nizwa-Ibri Rd) at 08:00. Arrival back in Muscat at 10:00 The purpose of this trip is to formally introduce ourselves to the Omani public and get to know others who share the same interest we do: Exploring the Jewel of Arabia; Oman. Important Rules · Follow all safety requirements received at starting location throughout all of the trip. · Listen to Sinbad Muscat Tours staff members and marshals at ALL TIMES. · All rubbish and waste should be disposed of appropriately – DO NOT LITTER! · Follow all road rules and regulations at all times including speed limits, wearing your seatbelt and do not use your mobile phone while driving.
