Jordan Henderson says now is the time for England to stick together after their elimination at the group stage of the World Cup. The Three Lions had high hopes when they set off on their journey to Brazil, but two narrow defeats against Italy and Uruguay brought their campaign to an early close. And Liverpool midfielder Henderson, who has played in all eight games since England confirmed their place at the Finals, admits the team need to remain strong and look to the future. Everyone is disappointed. Were really down because we are going home far too early, Henderson told TheFA at the team hotel. There was a lot of confidence going into the tournament, everyone has been getting on great and the team spirit has been brilliant. Team spirit is about people being together, not only when its going well, but also when things dont go so well and you need each other.
