Journey through Alcatraz Prison via /r/creepy ift.tt/eA8V8J Some of you probably have heard of Alcatraz. Its an abandon prison off the cost of mid-California. For this old job I had we investigated old abandoned places and on June 18th, 1980, my friend wanted to go to Alcatraz Prison. Some of you may think Oh thats not that bad at all! let me just tell you, you are horribly wrong my good friend. This is before they fully revamped the place and it wasnt as clean or anything like it is today. We fly out to San Francisco, California ready to go on a horrifying journey. My friend and I were lead to the very centre of the entire infrastructure and set up camp right there. We decided to set up a couple of cameras around the place to see if we could catch anything spooky on the cameras. I headed towards the main office on the top of the entire building while my friend headed towards the cells where they held the prisoners. Once I was up there, I scanned the place with my flashlight and found the file cabinet. I open it up and found some pretty interesting files on apparently real people who managed to escape the island. After spending like an hour looking through all those interesting files, I get a call from my friend via radio. He sounded like he was panting and he told me. Dude, get down to the cells n-! and then it cut off. I put up the files and ran down to the cell area as fast as I could. Thankfully the main office of the prison wasnt too far from the cell holding area so I got there rather quickly. After finally reaching the holding area, there was no one there. Dead silent. At first, I thought it was just my friend playing a joke on me. I look around the cell area for about an hour trying to find him but nothing. I start to try to call him on the radio saying alright buddy, you can, um, come out now? I decided to head back to base camp and once I got there, there was a video tape in the centre of all the cameras and our equipment. I took down on of the cameras on its pods and popped in the camera. My friend had brought a camera with him when he went to the holding area so maybe it was from him. The video showed him with his face to his camera saying if anyone finds this, please get out of here! Dont stay here! I gotta call Jack. Then it shows him getting out his radio and saying Dude, get down to the cells n-! then the video ends, just static after that. I pack up as much as I can carry and got out of the prison as fast as I possibly could. Once I was outside, I saw the moon shining over head and looked around to see the streets as silent as I could be. I rented a hotel and when I returned to HQ for my job I showed them the tape. They had a search and rescue team go by Alcatraz to see if they could find anything but they couldnt, nothing. This even was never put into the paper or the news upon request by us. We didnt want anyone else going to look for him and being taken up by whatever took our friend. To this day I refuse to go near that state of California and live in Georgia. I have a good paying job and a pretty good life. I guess well never know what happened that day for sure. He could be playing one huge prank, or this could be for real. I guess well never know for sure.
