Must possess the following minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Troubleshooting skills is a must for electrical systems. • Working knowledge of the NEC and OR Specialty Code. • Math skills as applied in electrical industry. • Ability to be self-directed and responsible. • Dedication to safety as a top priority. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate with customers courteously and respond appropriately to their needs. Ability to communicate with co-workers in taking instructions and giving instructions. • Willingness to learn about new unfamiliar work related applications. • Ability to function as part of a team. Physical Demands: • Must be physically fit and emotionally healthy. Frequent job site environments include: rooftops, crawl spaces, attics and ladders. • Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds. Job tasks include: • Residential new construction • Residential service work • Solar Photovoltaic installation both 1-phs and 3-phs, small residential to large commercial • Commercial service work • Ag pumps This recruit will be assigned a service van and work with an apprentice. Additional Requirements: • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. • Current Inside Journeymans electrical license in Oregon. • Recent verifiable work references. • Will be subject to background checks We offer competitive pay, job bonuses and paid training for solar and CEUs.
