Joy Glomski Chappell I have had a long term Foley Catheter for a few months now. I am unable to use a self cath due to loss of feeling. I am having a Urodynamic Study on the 21st and wondered who else has had this out there. I am a bit scared as I was told that if this test indicates that I will not be able to urinate on my own any longer that from a Neurologic perspective I will either need to be on a Foley Cath as a permanent part of my life. (OMG PLEASE NO) or have a suprapubic catheter. Looking for feedback or information on those who have a long term Foley Catheter, experienced the Urodynamic Study and/or anyone who has a suprapubic catheter. Thanks in advance!
