Judge & Jury starts at 7.00pm on TDS!!! In tonights case 36 year old Housewife and mother of 4 Rachel, is putting her husband Harold in the dock charged with Deception, Conspiracy and Selfishness!!! Here are the facts of the case: Rachel (The Plaintiff) submits as follows: After 16 years abroad her husband Harold had tricked her into visiting Nigeria and was now refusing for them to go back. He must have planned this over time as he had already set up a business and accommodation here, all without her knowledge let alone consent. She had only taken leave from her workplace and would certainly lose her job If she did not return soon. Unfortunately her status in the USA requires her husbands consent for travel in and out so she cannot just up and leave. He should have spoken to her about this rather than trick her into traveling home with him under the pretext of them going to see their families to help resolve their issues. Harold (The Defendant) submits as follows: He had brought his wife to the US as a young graduate but as the years went on she had changed drastically becoming totally westernized and spurning the values we respect at home. In the states she had been responsible for kicking him out of his own house and while they were separated he was paying almost $2,000.00 a month to her for maintenance. She had shunned all his efforts at a resolution to their marital problems and eventually he had to trick her into coming back with him. He needs to remind her that we are Nigerians and not Americans.
