Judith King, 68, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. She was born November 8, 1945 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Buel DeMoss and Lille Ray DeMoss. Mrs. King was a domestic engineer (housewife.) She was a member of Christ the King Church. She loved to garden, bake, and do crafts. She never met a stranger. Her grandchildren were her life’s passion. She is survived by her husband, Larry King; one son, Chris King of Bardstown, KY; one daughter, Kimberly Thomas of Kennesaw, GA; five grandchildren; Noah Thomas, Emily Thomas, Anna Thomas, Lily King, and John King; two sisters, Oda Clemons and Norma Lee; and two brothers, Charles DeMoss and Joseph “Mickey” DeMoss. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Christ the King Church with Father John Vaughan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mahr Cancer Center or the Hopkins County Animal Shelter.
