June 28, 2014: Another day with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Once again some places will miss out and others will be soaked. Peak of the activity will be during the afternoon hours. Warm with high temperatures well into the 80s. South winds at 5-10 mph. Rain chances may actually increase on Sunday as a disturbance moves through the warm air mass. Anyone with outdoor plans should have that plan B ready to unveil. :) Lightning and heavy downpours are the main concerns with thunderstorms. A few could produce strong winds. Again, same as the past week.
