Junior Quality Inspection (NDT) – Atlantis Urgently looking for a Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our successful team. The Quality Inspections’ Supervisor will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for planning and supervising all the inspections required, including quality controls during the production process and NDT inspections. Requirements, Specifications & Qualifications Needed: · University Degree in Engineering · Certification (valid locally and internationally) as NDT Inspector level II in UT, MT, PT, VT is highly desirable · 1 to 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment (Ideally in Oil & Gas, Pressure Vessels, Shipbuilding or Wind Tower manufacturing) acting as Quality Inspections supervisor · Valuable technical knowledge: quality control and management; codes, norms and procedures applicable to production processes, welding processes and surface treatment in Steel industry/ heavy fabrication · Proven knowledge of Quality Standards and International Codes, ability to interpret drawings and defining standards & procedures · Valuable personal skills: analytic, precise and organized; able to anticipate, detect and solve problems; excellent in communication and able to build and lead teams; able to manage projects and coordinate project teams · Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP · Fluent in English Duties & Responsibilities include but not be limited to: · Plan all product control inspections, including NDT inspections to be performed at different stages of the production process. · Plan inspections and NDT methods and follow as per approved NDT procedures and/or applied specifications. · Guarantee correct and efficient use of all inspection equipment. · Assess and analyze work to ensure smooth flow of material without stoppages. · Proper interpretation of defect and its evaluation. · Carryout daily calibration as per specified procedure. · Attend training program when required. Give training to the inspectors. · Respect Safety Standards and use of defined PPE. · Adopt, communicate and spread company Quality policies.
