Just a few random thoughts......I have realized through the years just how much it hurts to lose a loved one. In my case, my parents, my brother, aunts, uncles and friends. Sometimes you have the opportunity to say good bye and other times you miss the opportunity to let them know just how much you love them and how much they mean to you. My Dad and I had a disagreement the night before he passed. That was over 34 years ago and it still bothers me. I was able to say good bye to my Mom and brother, although Im not sure if they understood. Other situations were sudden and unexpected. If I could go back and see all of them, I certainly would let them know how much they meant to me and the impact they had on my life. Of course we had our share of fights and shouting matches, but we always made up. As I write this, my eyes are filled with tears and my heart is heavy. If I could only tell them one more how much I love them......
