Just a few thoughts that I could not even finish - but our sister Kelly - did so quite well... Kelly finished with I know *exactly* what you were feeling and trying to say, bother!!!! I had a little breakdown of my own, as I passed by that great statue, heading home last night. Were tired, exhausted, really spent trying (begging) people to ***wake up***. You look at that statue, and wonder where are the Sam Houstons of today? And you realize you just spent the last few days in the intolerable heat, pounding the pavement, and knocking on doors of voters who - it would seem - just dont really care, or just dont get it.... But you go that extra mile because YOU get it, and YOU care. And you give it all you got, for certain candidates who are absolutely worth each and every minute of YOUR efforts!! Godly people. Godly candidates, who YOU know will fight the good fight. People like Steve Toth, Tony Tinderholt, Konni Burton, Jonathan Stickland. These fine people will take our state down a new and righteous path!! Its up to us grassroots folks to get them there!! You hang in there, my friend. We dont have much longer till election day!!!!! And I pray our efforts will pay off!!!
