Just a little of the back story before you get to the good part: My husbands father suffered a stroke about a year ago. We moved him in, and I was his caregiver completely through rehabilitation. He was cleared by doctors in november and insisted ongoing home. He returned to Alabama a little over a week ago. We received news that something wasnt quite right. He was quickly brought back here by his sons. After taking him to the hospital. He has suffered yet another stroke and may need full-time care once again. After 2 hours of crying, and going through every emotion. I couldnt help but think Why Lord, how can we do this again? I was trying to weigh out options, quickly getting overwhelmed. Then I went to Facebook. My local church posted the verse of the day Joshua 1:14-15 You are to help your brothers until the Lord gives them rest. Huh?!?! Furthermore, the Proverbs 31 website posted....God I love you, I dont love this situation. But I love you, therefore I have everything I NEED to keep putting one foot in front of the other until I get to the other side of the situation. Okay?!?! God knew I still wasnt quite getting it. I went to my bible app and signed up for a new reading plan. Youll never guess what the passage was Matthew 16:8 Oh ye of little faith.As I read I got chills, then a steady stream of peace filled tears. My God is an awesome God!
