Just a quick update as to whats going on...... I came to Oklahoma yesterday to help a friend. She just moved into a new home, which is always a pain. Add to that 4 foster kids aged 5 and under, a teenaged son with a busted up foot, and a fresh diagnosis of diabetes, and you can imagine how hard it is on her. Ive been helping her unpack and clean, because the people who helped her move..... Well, we just wont go there right now. About an hour ago, her blood sugar skyrocketed. It was easily one of the scariest things Ive ever witnessed. Her mother took her to the hospital and I am here at her house with 6 kids, trying to do what I can to help while maintaining my game face for the kids. So yeah. Thats where I am. Say some prayers and send some happy thoughts and fairy dust and rainbow-colored unicorns her way - because she needs it right now.
