Just an update they have finally decided that Tim needs a liver transplant as well as lungs so they need to get approval from Medicare do a few more tests and Tim will need to see the liver transplant surgeon. He is on the inactive list for lungs until this is done. As I feel so many things happen for a reason I feel that he would not have gotten lungs until this decision was made The fear was if he had the lung transplant his liver would fail post surgery. He has had liver disease all his life so I told Tim I would donate part of mine but he said NO if something happened to me he would never forgive himself depending on how long this takes n time with no appts. We may come home for a few days. I have seen 2 people at the drs. Office who had lung transplants about 3 weeks ago and they both looked great. No o2 good color smiling and joyful.
