Just back from Australia with British Airways pathetic gluten free options, for example- starter - lettuce cucumber , tomato in one plate and a bowl of lettuce on the other, rice cakes see picture. Main- rubbery dry chicken, rice and a veg. Breakfast more rice cakes, fruit, strange white Ricey egg stuff, tinned mushrooms and French beans! My husband had normal breakfast bacon omelette and sausage(the only gluten thing) and fried mushrooms. I had some of his bacon and omelette. Why cant I have had the same breakfast without the sausage. All the gluten free meals were horrible. So British airways get your act together or you will loose customers. We went Quantas as well and I ordered gluten free, they acknowledged it and totally forgot, so no gluten free option on second flight.
