Just back from the West Virginia Citizens League Meet and Greet the Candidates Dinner. The Board had arranged for 50 but that quickly swelled into the other Dining Room. Quite a few Candidates, for WV. Legislature and Congress. Brought a smile to me when a few WVCDL Members stood up and presented their speech as Candidates. Keith Morgan hosted the Evening Activities. Keith made it known in no uncertain terms, the Candidates are applying for a job. Treat it as such and conduct your own Job interview. I did just that, as others did the same. Its one thing to listen to a 4 minute speech as opposed to the chance to ask the hard questions. It was a impromptu Carry Event. Enjoyed my Evening with like minded individuals. The Owner was pleased with the Event and had he known the Crowd he would have set aside more seating. I expect next year to continue the trend...Bigger and Better...The Candidates covet and court a WVCDL A rating and that is not handed out easily. wvcdl.org/
