Just back in from the match. Those who were there tonight will have witnessed one of the worst refereeing performances ever. A truly joke of a referee, he looked as if he was enjoying let Dumfermline players kick seven shades out of Rangers players. I have never before seen so many blatant dangerous fouls go unpunished. Consistently letting things go when Dunfermine players brutally hacked Rangers players down, then blowing the whistle for Dunfermline free kicks when Rangers players dared to looked in the direction of the opposition. I dont know the name of tonights referee but I hope to goodness I never have to see him spoil another game again. Dunfermline were dirty horrible untalented, there gameplan tonight was to kill the opposition, literally. 0-0 at half time and the officials were quite rightly booed off the park. Second half and more ridiculous decisions, Ian Black this time finding himself in the book for absolutely nothing. Andy Little was stretchered off the park with what looked like a bad injury as the dirtiness continued, the next victim was Foster also having to leave the game due to injury. Then.... 71 mins a miracle! The referee awarded Rangers a penalty! It was his first correct decision in the game, the Ibrox faithful gasped in amazement in disbelief, I had to look twice and ask those around me, was it really a penalty? Then a red card for a Dunfermlne player. Two correct decisions in a row. Up stepped Big Jig sporting a huge bandage around his napper, he was composed as he swept the ball effortlessly past the keepers left hand side into back of the net. Rangers deservedly took the lead. The relief to finally get the lead was great, a little justice for all the crap we had to endure up to this point. Jon Daly got Rangers second around 78 mins with a great looping header that seemed to hover in the air in slow motion before landing in the back of the net. A bit of sloppiness allowed Dirtfermline to pull a scrappy goal back on 81 mins but the game was finally wrapped up in the 90th minute with big Moshni powering a shot from the six yard line into the top corner of the net. A hard fought victory tonight under difficult circumstances, well done lads.. You showed great fight!!! WATP Another victory!!! /Kenny Ill Follow Follow Rangers Forever 1872
