Just because a glider OR gliders are on Craigslist or any other social media site looking for a new home, does not automatically mean they are rescues or need rescuing. They need homes. Another issue have seen lately is that just because you see gliders in a situation that is different than how you would do things (small cage, wrong wheel, crappy diet, not safe toys etc) does not mean that they owners are awful or that those gliders need saving. Those are not rescue situations either. Everyone has to remember that each individual may not be as educated about sugar gliders as we are. When you got your first glider did you know as much then as you do now? Were you once advised how to take care of your new gliders by someone that may have been improperly taught as well? If everyone could use a little compassion and understanding (and an open mind) when looking at Craigslist ads or the other ad places, then all of those ads wont be so heart breaking to you. And most importantly.............. There is no wrong way, there are just some people that may need a bit of help in being more educated.
