Just called Comcast to report that my DVR is not working. I guess part of my frustration with calls for service with many companies is their reps must work off a prepared script/check list because regardless of what you tell them you have already tried and it still has no power, they still ask you to do things that make absolutely no sense trying on a piece of equipment that has no power. Finally got her to understand that and so I now wait for the technician to come out to replace the box. My biggest sorrow is that I had recorded some oldies but goodies, including Leslie Caron in Lili and one of the many Thin Man series and they are now gone for good. Can only hope that TMC will replay them at some point. I know - that should be my biggest problem. Oh, well! Just another one of lifes little frustrations.
