Just did some research on how many schools has closed in the City of Flint mostly in Urban Neighborhoods in the past years (22). Wilkins, Martin, Merrill, Dort, Civic Park, King, Gundry, Washington, Bunche, Bryant, Dewey, Jefferson, Anderson, Coolidge, Cook, Mc Kinley, Longfellow, Pierson, Stewart, Whittier, Central. How did we get here and how do we develop solutions to eliminate this trend from happening in our community bringing our property values down, people giving up on our community, where is the FIGHT in us. We ought to be shame of ourselves for allowing this to happen. Where is our leadership?
