Just finished a New York City tour for a New Jersey high school band. During the 3 days they attended a band clinic. These kids became my friends immediately. This 26 year old director is trying to build a program. He is young but delivering a good balance of pride and discipline. This guy is turning the Bad News Bears into a respectable marching & concert Band… They scored best overall… So many good memories… I asked if their director ever talked about the Horn Fairy?
