Just finished watching the amazingly good, well cast, well written Arrested Development. (I was an early adopter of most Apple products, but this bit of genius began in 2003, so I am definitely late to the party!) I am astonished at many things, but two that stick out are how many really well known and beautiful actresses have minor supporting roles (Charlize Theron, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Heather Graham to name three) as the love interest of the episode, and how many celebrities play themselves in fairly unsympathetic portrayals (Carl Weathers, Ron Howard). Also, that a cast this rich could be reassembled five years later to make a fourth season is pretty impressive.
