Just found out about a Quebec Government Program to help Mid to lower income people...who are unable to conceive children, get invitro fertilization. Opinions??? Personally I think if your cant save up 5-10 thousand dollars over several years to get the procedures, you probably cant afford to feed and clothe a child. There are cuts to education and healthcare for our existing children and they thought it was a good idea to start a new program costing 35 Million (of course this is Quebec so it ended up costing 70 Million Dollars) to bring more children into already struggling households? I do have feelings for these couples that cant have children, but there is a lot of children available for adoption, not only here, but around the world. Now this has made news for one simple reason, a recently married Gay couple would like to take advantage of this program with a third party as their surrogate...please continue to discuss. I am laughing now because they Government made the program available to all Married Couples, and now they are having second thoughts about who can access it. Foot in Hot Water!!! Quebec~!!! Stop Spending Money You Dont Have!!!!
