Just got back from a quick drive with a friend. Time to finish some more paintings for my Sbace 3arabi art show with Wize One. As I drove through my city I raised the volume of my cars CD player to the sound of Led Zeppelin. Listening to Since Ive Been Loving You as the serpentine road guided my car made me realize that I miss my evening talk show on 96.3 FM. My evening shift used to end after playing the last song request, that was phoned in by an anxious young listener, and reading the headlines at 12. For seven years I talked to complete strangers, people Ive never met! In my 12 years Ive probably met four or three special listeners, who I invited to the studio to experience what it was like to sit behind a pair of mics and talk to the world. Crazy!
