Just got back from the bioluminescent lake! Amazing experience including capsizing our kayak in a pitch black mangrove swamp! Rope around the oars wrapped around my leg and kept pushing me under. Rescue came quickly and a quick thinking fellow kayaker rescued my bag. We tipped as went too close in to the mangrove and other boats collided into us. We are all fine and I am counting this experience as one of my 50@50. Small aquatic creatures have a blue glow and when you swish your hand through them and the water it becomes luminescent
