Just got off work with a brilliant idea for my AM/FM radio woes in the living room; I took an old portable 8 Track tape player, with a big loudspeaker on it, that also has an AM and FM tuner in it, and placed it in the perfect spot on a cabinet shelf, so I can listen to all my favorite radio shows in the living room!!! Here in Kissimmee, Florida, Glenn Beck & Rush Limbaugh are on 540 AM WFLA, Bubba The Love Sponge is on 810 AM CBS Sports Radio Orlando, and Sean Hannity & Mark Levin are on 96.5 FM Orlandos News Talk!!! Our home theatre only has an FM tuner in it, but even to pick up 96.5, it is extremely weak and very staticky!!! This old radio does the job, picking up all of my stations on both bands in extremely high quality with very little static, if any!!! The speaker is loud enough it fills the entire room with sound; Sadly, the tape player portion doesnt work very well, so tapes will not fill the room, but thats ok! All I want is the radio!!!
