Just had an interaction with a power hungry cop who had a superiority complex. So I am on my way to class, which happens to be right next to the road. I hear screeching tires and look up just in time to see some F150 smash into the back of a lady making a right onto our campus. I immediately get on the phone and call it in to 911 and then walk over to make sure everyone was ok. The lady was the one who got rear ended turning right, and this douche bag has the nerve to come at this lady all pissed off and starts yelling at her. This poor lady is just trying to pick up her tiny daughter from school and she gets rear ended, and this idiot who was clearly in the wrong decides to treat her like garbage. Then it gets worse. The cop shows up, who is a motorcycle cop, and he talks to the guy in the F150 first... I walk away for a few minutes and come back and now the cop is talking to the lady, and then he starts citing her! She keeps asking why and he starts raising his voice and being a complete (fill in the blank) to her. The cop then looks at me and approaches me and asks me how I know this lady in an extremely pissed tone. I told him I had never met the lady before, I was just a Good Samaritan who saw everything go down. I was the only witness they had. This douche bag of a cop gets an attitude with me and starts grilling me with questions to make sure I dont know her. I reiterated once again I... do... not... know... her... Then he asked what I saw, and had this attitude with me like I was some piece of garbage who was going to lie to him.. and I told him she was stopping to make a right, and this cop was like..oh she STOPPED, huh? and he scoffed at me.. I was like, Well not completely, she was slowing down to make the turn, thats usually what you do when you come up to a right turn.. she wasnt gonna make that turn at 40 MPH.. I am absolutely SICK of cops like this. They need to go. This cop wrote an innocent lady a ticket and then got pissed at me for being the witness that basically proved the cop had all the wrong ideas about what happened. At the end, he was like, well, you might get a call from us or the insurance companies to verify what you saw.. and i was like, Oh I will be 100 percent sure to tell them everything I just told you. POS.
