Just in case anyone else misunderstood my rantings about Christians helping each other, let me clarify. The message that Krista Marie Gibson totally misinterpreted was simply this: When someone, anyone, has a need we as Christians are called to help if possible. If you cant then you are at least called to lift each other up. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are we to tear one another down. Leaving my experiences out of it, I see a lot of Christians tearing each other down. Especially with the gospel music industry (at least on the local levels). We as a body of Christ should be there for one another. Dont tear one group or person down because you want that booking. First of all its not biblical, secondly it makes you look bad as a result, and last it makes others not want to deal with you. Im sure we can all agree with this. For example (taking myself completely out of it), I see groups stab each other in the backs time after time. It makes me pure sick to see. We should be coming together as a body of Christ. I personally love worshiping with other groups. I dont understand why other groups wouldnt want to. After all, we are called to love one another. I think its high time we in the Southern Gospel Music industry start showing more love and compassion, and start being the example. I for one plan on doing just that.
