Just left Bob Evans in Cross Lanes. This makes the third visit in - TopicsExpress

Just left Bob Evans in Cross Lanes. This makes the third visit in two weeks that has gone poorly. The first visit last week we sat waiting to order for 15 minutes while servers argued over who took our table. Once decided she was very nice and our drinks came swiftly but we waited for nearly 45 minutes before she came and told us she had forgotten to key our order in at all. So it was a near 2 hour visit for cold food (2 of us ordered senior serving turkey breast and 1 a country fried steak). Our next visit we were seated and drink orders were taken then our server had a large party seated and we were near forgotten (mind you that is forgivable if our food had been right). We got refills as we were getting up to leave and the food again was cold and missing several ingredients (similar order to previous except instead of the steak a breakfast platter was ordered.) Our final visit just ended. We were seated by the Asst. Manager and then he went out to sit in a car with people I presume to be his family as that is where he was when we left 2 hours later. Our server took our orders with our drinks and our drinks came out right away. Then 40 minutes later our food came out (after 2 families that came in and ordered after us had finished their meals)... Very cold and over cooked. The turkey was shoe leather that they dropped an entire bowl of gravy over to hide that fact (the gravy was warm but nothing else was). The country fried steak was fine but like our meals the sides were cold. The salad that was ordered came with wilted lettuce, no cheese (which it should have), eggs that werent boiled all the way through, and super salted chicken. We never received refills. We will not be going back and I will be taking the survey and contacting corporate directly. The uncooked eggs alone warrant it.
