Just like hardly anyone paid attention to capping, no one is paying attention to what Verizons assault on Net Neutrality could mean to your use of the Internet as a tool for Activism-unless youre ready to pay more-maybe MUCH more for the privilege. The ALEC crowd can. Remember them? Theyre the folks we have to band together to resist. With the potential structuring and paid tiers of service we can expect if this court ruling stands-what happens to GMO-Free USA, C.A.N. and other Activist Groups then? If the decision stands, it could mean that Internet providers could soon start charging websites like Google, Facebook and Netflix to reach users.
