Just listened to another cell phone employee explaining why the big 3 in Canada are upset with Feds allowing a competitor from US to enter our country. Understand concern however also cannot understand why we seem to have less than good cell phone coverage nor little or non Internet coverage across this great land? Travel fairly extensively and had pleasure of visiting New Zealand (islands for those who do not know with lots of hills and valleys) and coverage was at least 10times better along with very reasonable - in fact the people we talked to had never been able to use up there plans monthly? Strange how our big boys can spend on sports teams and television stations but want to keep 2/3 of the population out of the coverage areas! Seems Canada has the largest fringe areas of any country around but also se of the highest billings! Personally we have had no Internet for 3 weeks from our supplier as the other big boy they share tower with decided to tweak signal to give Toronto better coverage and screw the rest of us! Maybe it is time to put some pressure on from the small guys!
