Not many people in Australia would argue against you that this is a tragedy, as many other Gaza conflicts have been, but it is a tragedy on both sides. The single main difference is that Israel is not, I repeat not, trying to wipe out Gaza or Palestine or Syria or Lebanon or Egypt or Iran or Iraq or Saudi or Kuwait or Qatar or wherever, they are just a tiny, repeat tiny, country, trying to carve out a place in the world. Whereas it is the stated aim to wipe Israel off the earth of not only Hamas, but groups to their north such as Hezbollah etc. I just cannot understand how you guys can constantly pick on Israel when you just cannot get your act together amongst yourselves - look at all the big conflicts and terrorist attacks around the world in recent years - most if not all have involved people from your side of politics. There have been far more deaths by actions between your own tribe and creed than anything done by Israel.
