Just over 10 years ago, I set off to study abroad in New Zealand and as it turned out, an awesome friend of mine from Chico was accepted for the same program. We decided to travel there together and stop over in Fiji on the way. After island hopping in Fiji for a week, we set up shop in NZ and put our money together to buy an old station wagon that wed share for the year. It took no time at all of us spending time together until I realized that I was head over heels crazy about my fellow adventurer, Katy Robertson Chappell. I definitely didnt go to NZ to meet an american girl, but there was no denying it, I was TOTALLY into her. And get this, when the brave moment came one night to show her how I really felt..she kissed me back!!!! And weve been together ever since.. Call me a cheesedog, but Im one lucky man to have such an amazing woman to share lifes adventures with. Happy Anniversary Ktown!!!
