Just read a lengthy post from a person who actually auditioned for Sports Jeopardy! in LA a few weeks ago. Some key points I took from it (that I wasnt aware of previously): Each tryout group consists of anywhere from 100-200 people. A number of people who competed on the daily syndicated version of Jeopardy! may be auditioning for the new sports show. Of the people in this particular group, roughly 20% passed the test. You only receive further consideration to be a contestant if you pass the test. No official passing score is given, but the rumor is 70% (21 of 30 in this case). They also never reveal your actual score on the test. They only tell you if you passed. A new show will be released every week for about 52 weeks, on Crackle (a free digital media channel owned by SPE, Inc, the same company that produces the daily syndicated version of Jeopardy!). In other words, roughly 156 people will make the final cut.
