Just read a post about training for the Camino. I hike about 4 times a week between 3.5-6 hilly miles. I still huff and puff going up the hills. Especially when wearing my pack (8-9 lbs). Ive been hiking for 4 or 5 years. Im 57 and overweight, but not obese. I also do weight training. I cannot imagine doing the Camino without further training. And Im so slow. Geez. Any suggestions? (Ive gotta take it slow because I had a knee replacement about 3.5 months ago).
