Just rewatched The Shawshank Redemption at Arclight Cinemas tonight. Its been years and I never got to watch it on the big screen back in the 90s. While I was watching the film, I was paying very special attention to see if I ever got bored at any moment throughout the whole film. I can honestly say that there was never a dull moment, not a single one. Theres a good reason it still holds number one on IMDB. Perhaps there are some better films but I can say that this is one of the most perfect movies ever made. If you havent watched this film, which I feel most people have in this group, then this should go on top of your movie queue. This particular scene is one of my favorites from the film. Its so human and heartfelt and it personally spoke to me on a deeper level when it comes to living in the society we live in today.
