Just thinking: The Analytical & Logical Mind- Its ok to be analytical & employ logic when thinking. The problem arises when it gets in the way of our hearing, believing & receiving the truth of the Word of God in simplicity.. when it interferes w/His precepts & instructions being the final word in our lives. Its at this time that we must take this beautiful gift of the mind & lay it on Gods altar.. before it subtlety becomes our god. God made us thinkers (after all, we are fashioned after Him & He is THE supreme thinker w/an amazingly beautiful mind) but we also need to grasp that, as Christians, thinking w/out the garrison of His Spirit eventually leads to death.. & well, its pretty much not thinking at all. Futile. So while we kiss our brains (lol) lets also kiss The Fathers brain by submitting our logic, our intellect, our philosophies and opinions to the weight & authority of the Spirit of His Word. Thats when real thinking happens.. What do you think?
