Just wanted to add my congratulations to Ravi on the Surprise, Surprise programme. I dont receive TV ( only via iplayer) so knew nothing of this programme but I am delighted to discover there is a programme that acknowledges people when they do good and makes some reward for them. I am speaking to the converted here, when I say that this was a much deserved acknowledgement of someone who just gives, without a thought to the possible risk/cost to himself. As a classic car enthusiastic myself, restoring Ravis car was a wonderful thing to do and if you are not devoted to a classic car yourself, let me tell you, this is our dream, that our precious baby is restored to as new and you can drive around with that daft grin that we all have. Id have been more impressed had it been a Morris Minor or even a Hindustan Ambassador but that just shows us Ravi is human after all ..... My real concern is giving him a two week holiday for the family, will the family cope with seeing Ravi 24/7 for two whole weeks? This will be a new experience for them ..... Congratulations Ravi, a well deserved recognition for all that you do via Khalsa Aid and I hope you are able to cope with a fortnight off and just having fun with your family .....
