Just wanted to let everyone know Pat is home from the hospital. His back surgery went very well. Dr Hedeman did a wonderful job as did the anesthesiologist, James Baguley. He was amazing as Pat has a difficult intubation and he did not have the slightest sore throat after this surgery. It was way different from his last surgery at McLaren in Mt Pleasant where the anesthesiologist "tore the hell out of his throat" according to our MD, and she broke one of his front teeth. It is amazing when doctors listen to you and take seriously the information you give them! Anyway, Pat is doing well. Sleeping a lot, but that is normal. He is doing what he told he is to do to heal. More updates later. Thank you all for your prayers and good intentions.
