Just wanted to remind everyone of the Student Affairs Day being held tomorrow at the International Market Square in Minneapolis. If you are an ASID Student Officer, your training begins at 9:30 a.m. If you are not an officer, registration begins at 10:30. There will be panel discussions with designers on topics including commercial design, etiquette, how to start your own business, how to use a showroom, etc. as well as a Portfolio Review. Bring your portfolio in and have it evaluated by professionals. This is a great opportunity to network for those internships. Lunch will be catered and the day will conclude with a tour of a showroom and a design studio. RSVP to Tabitha at 612.339.6003. This event is open to ASID student members and non-student members alike, and cost is $10 at the door. However, you must be a student ASID member to take part in the Portfolio Review.
