As Ricci says to Pattinson at the end, "It is not enough just to be loved...is it?" just as Pattinson is about to marry the much younger daughter of a rival, and u see he is a miserable Athiest chasing money through marriage. The end leaves the viewer wondering...does he ever find TRUE happiness?
