Just went through a complicated mess at Walgreens. I picked up my prescriptions 6 days ago....I use express pay which means they automatically charge my debit card. When I opened the bag 2 days ago, I noticed that they had charged me $299 for my diabetes med, which ordinarily costs $147 as I have hit the donut hole. I immediately called them and the pharmacist said yes, a mistake had been made and to bring in the paperwork and they would credit my account. Went to the drive in window and the same young man who had made the mistake originally tried to tell me that I would have to contact my insurance carrier to get my money back. Grrrrr.............by now Im boiling. I asked to speak to the Manager. To make a long story a little shorter. The manager refunded my money. Just goes to show you that to resolve a major money problem, go to the top. I know, this sounds like a Rhonda Ramsey Robinson story...........LOL
