Just when you think, just when you blink a long hard blink, just when turn to the book to finish the last line of Good Night Moon...you look up and your child is nearly 5 feet tall and shes asleep in a big bed and the book is significantly thicker with much bigger words. Shes got real concerns of her own and she can talk about them. At 9, she surprises me everyday and she is learning the world quickly. Curiosity is turning the engines of intellect and feelings are turning the watermill in her heart. Shes self-aware and wants more input all the time. With all my business engagements coming up, I question it everyday. Im there for her when she needs me and I am doing the best I can. Shes safe and as Im following this route Im carving out, I know that whatever happens everything will be just fine. Love that kiddo. :)
