Just wondering by what process I believe seems to turn into I know for a large number of people. They seem to stop prefacing statements with I believe and start making definitive statements such as the mind is....., consciousness is..... and so on. I recall one guy on Richard Dawkins forum who used to like to preface every statement with We know.......with the we being science, but in fact many of his statements were not known things and he was tacking on his own personal preferences. Its fascinating just to discuss the process by which believe becomes know.....Ive even seen people arguing as if they know that the Copenhagen interpretation is true, or that there is a multiverse.
